When Spring Comes
As the trees bloom with great speed
The wind grows warmer with each blow
The grass thrives even filled with weeds
Struggling through all its difficulties

The seeds that were planted so long ago
Their numbers arising in a paltry few
They bring hope for the possibility of tomorrow
And all the implications we cannot forgo

Hard work and determination are so few
It causes one to grow despondent; in lieu
Of the causes of evolution that do brew

In the waking memories of the birds that flew
